Peter G. Darlow
In over twenty-five years as a designer and architect, Peter Darlow has established a reputation for integrating innovative design with the functional and technical requirements of each project. Mr. Darlow has particular expertise in commercial, institutional, and hospitality design, both as a founding principal of Darlow Christ Architects, and previously as a project architect for major new construction and renovation projects around the U.S. Since he joined with Catherine Christ in 1992 to form Darlow Christ Architects, his firm's work has garnered numerous write-ups and awards.
Peter Darlow received a Bachelor of Architecture from McGill University in Montreal, graduating with distinction in 1980. He is registered as an architect in Massachusetts and New York, and he is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. Mr. Darlow is an active member of the American Institute of Architects, the Boston Society of Architects, and the National Trust for Historic Preservation. He has taught as a guest critic at the Boston Architectural Center and the Wentworth School of Architecture.
 
 
Catherine A. Christ
Catherine Christ's career as an architect and designer spans more than twenty years. Ms. Christ seeks out the challenge of detailed high-profile projects which benefit from her design and management skills. Her work is characterized by its originality and its responsiveness to the needs of each particular client. Her designs include many restaurant, hotel, retail stores, and corporate office projects, both as a founding principal of Darlow Christ Architects, and previously as the project architect for nationally recognized restaurant designs in New York and Boston. Since 1992, when she started Darlow Christ Architects with partner Peter Darlow, Ms. Christ's work has received national recognition, winning awards and appearing in design publications.
Catherine Christ holds a Master in Architecture degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Design, and a Bachelor of Interior Design from Iowa State University, where she graduated with distinction in the Honors Program. Ms. Christ is registered as an architect in Massachusetts, and is a founding member of the Network of Executive Women in Hospitality, Boston Chapter. She has been a thesis advisor for the architectural and interior design programs at the Boston Architectural Center, where she has also taught a course on furniture design.
